We're very excited about our new site. Some great sections will be opening over the coming months. There will be a quiz training school and online quiz events too. February sees us heading back to a favourite Quizzing venue, the Lee Brigg WMC in Normanton. The day will see a standard UK Grand Prix individual quiz for ranking points, followed by a team quiz.

Mastermind Baffled By Gas Bills
Dr. Ian Bayley, Mastermind Champion and Quizzing regular, featured in a consumer programme on BBC1 looking at how ridiculously complicated gas bills can be.

World's Worst Pub Quiz
Last night, I went to a pub quiz. It was so bad that it was funny and it got me to thinking that we should compile the worst quiz ever using terrible questions that you've heard at pub quizzes. It's just for fun, so please don't mention the names of the setters/question masters.

Gibson rules the world, again!
Pat Gibson has triumphed in the inaugural MindSweep event, an individual quiz organised by the Karnataka Quiz Association (KQA) of India. The event saw 350 participants from eight nations, spread over 25 venues, and was played-out over the first weekend of January (Sat 7th & Sun 8th).
