Danny - Lee Van Cleef was certainly unlucky in westerns - he lost gunfights to Gary Cooper in High Noon, John Wayne in Liberty Valance and Mitt Romney's mate Clint Eastwood in Good/Bad/Ugly. Sorry Pete he was the ugly one in The Good The Bad And The Ugly but he wasn't in Once Upon A Time in The West. Besides, he was still around a couple of decades later making Tough Guys with Kirk Douglas and Burt Lancaster. Nice try though.
