Paul has it.

Palmerston reputedly said that only three men had understood the S-H question. "One is dead, and the second has gone mad. I am the third, and I have forgotten the details"

It was only resolved in 1954 in order that Denmark would allow West Germany to join NATO.

Did anybody notice the bridge?

Thanks.

His real name was Rudolf Ditzen, but he took his pseudonym from two stories in Grimms' Fairy Tales. He died in 1947, and only became well known in the English-speaking world when his novel about life under Nazism, "Every Man Dies Alone", was published in 2010 under a slightly different title. Under what name did he write?

The institution is part of a bigger academic organisation (and not to be confused with a namesake elsewhere).

This institution was created to close a perceived lack of provision for post-graduate science, and got a large chunk of finance from the profits of Great Universal Stores.
