The Quizzes for Charity Xmas/New Year Quiz is now available. In aid of Williams Syndrome Foundation & First Step.

100 usual type questions (from relatively easy to very hard), a few puzzles and pictures. £100 first prize with other cash prizes and some lucky dips too. Closing date is 28th February; so plenty of time to find those difficult ones. The entry fee is £5, which includes a minimum £3 direct donation to the charities; £2 will go to the prize fund.

If you are interested in obtaining a quiz you can either pay the entry via internet banking or by cheque.
If you want to pay via cheque, please make them payable to Quizzes for Charity, and send it to QfC, 38 Cambridge Road, Sandy, Beds, SG19 1JF.

The quiz will be sent via email, but if you would like a hardcopy, we would appreciate a SAE; thank you.

A few alterations etc from the first edition to go out.

Q51 To now read "In 1999 and 2018, the month of February was the only month not to have what occur?"
Q76 Some references give the height as 4 ft 6 ins or 4 ft 6.5 ins.
Q72 & Q 83 These had the answers given in some versions. Both will be given as correct anyway.

Q85: Please change "Kenneth Williams'" to "Terry Scott's". My reference was wrong! Sorry.

Re Q4

Please change "Lead Singer" to "Lead Guitarist"

Q60: There are 2 possible answers. Either or Both will be accepted.

Should have read '100metres' NOT '200metres'. Fat fingers!!! Sorry

No 85: change 'was later to appear' to 'appeared'.
