I'm planning to be there. I went to my first one in Northampton in March and hugely enjoyed it so I've been anticipating this one for quite a while.

Does anyone know how close the venue is to the train station, and how easy it is to get to from there?

Thanks,
Chris C

Hi Chris,

It will be great to see you again.

Looking at Google Maps the venue is 2 miles from the station (hall, PE3 6LU, is about 1.5 miles due west of the latter, as the crow flies). 5 minute taxi ride I imagine - am sure by posting your arrival time here you could arrange a share, or even a lift.

Chris J.

I'm going to be getting in on the 10.50 train, so I shall be either 1) looking for a taxi share, 2) looking for a kind person to give me a lift, or 3) going to the bus station to catch the no.2 bus to Longthorpe.

Jane/Chris I hope to attend Peterborough on May 5th (the whole shebang) if this is ok. I have a few loose ends to tie up at the moment so would be grateful if you could put (tbc) after my name for the moment but it will take a force majeure event to derail me.

I was at Derby in 2010 for the Euros and at Lichfield last June for the British leg of the WQC but I guess this will be my first GP event proper. Look forward to seeing you both again near the fair river Nene!

Regards
Dave

It will be nice to see you again Dave! Hopefully you can join us for the evening (the apres quiz following the WQC in 2010 was top notch). You'll also have the Doddings' enjoyable team quiz to look forward to as well. All the best, Chris
