As in previous years, a short walk from the Quiz Venue, The Good Intent pub will be hosting us for curry and ale. The curry is home-made, and you can choose meat or vegetarian. PLEASE SIGN UP ON HERE, LETTING ME KNOW WHICH OPTION YOU REQUIRE.

The price will be £7.50, and it's always good value and tasty. Plus the pub has a good selection of real ales (or glass of white wine or fruit-based drink for the laydeez).

Don't forget, we also have England's largest second-hand bookshop, Baggins, and both there and in a couple of other local shops, I will be negotiating discounts for our quizzers.

Together with the Castle, the Cathedral and our many Dickensian connections, we have a lot to offer in Rochester. Quite apart from which, in the afternoon you get the chance to take part in my fiendish team Pub Quiz, "enhanced" for the higher challenge all you lovely people represent.....

Ken
