As an aside, many pages ago, I had asked about the only Jamaican-born pitcher to make it to the majors, Justin Masterson, and he is part of the American League All-Star team this year.

He was the ten pin bowler who scored 11 strikes and when his 11th ball (he thought) was about to score his 12th strike (to score a perfect 300) the rack came down and stopped it
