Cheekbones, I see that Wolverine and Enda have been wrongly guessed already. I have not got a clue about this but here is another guess (probably all wrong!)

3 Emerald
4 Liston
5 Vinegar Joe
8 Charles
9 Vera

Ignore my last one - they are all wrong. After all this time I think that it is reasonable to cheat a little so I now know the connection. I will not give it but will give some of (what I believe to be) correct answers and leave it for someone else to clean up

4 Frazier
5 Fox
8 Garrett
9 Lewis

Rather annoyingly, I thought that I had already given Lewis and I was going to give Frazier and Garrett earlier but decided on the other ones instead

3 is Kelly, as in Chip Kelly, since I think these are all last names of NFL head coaches (at least thinking that Leslie Frazier, Marvin Lewis, Rex Ryan, John Fox, Ron Rivera, and Jason Garrett would fit the connection), but I'm not too sure about McCoy or Bradley being one, so one of those two should be the odd man out. But I am also unaware of an NFL head coach whose last name is a mustelid.

They are all indeed current NFL head coaches, and I have double-checked, there is definitley a mustelid with the name of a hc

Is John Fox the ooo since he's been to the Super Bowl and the others haven't as head coaches (Marvin Lewis and Ron Rivera at least among the others did as assistants)?
