I definitely remember Alison Moyet duetting with Paul Young at Live Aid in 1985. Two well matched voices .. might have been one of his many ballads but not sure which one

Thanks
Material Girl Madonna performed at the Wembley leg of Live Aid 1985 not as a main artiste but as a backing singer for which then hugely-successful British band?

Re: Contuinuous Quiz - Music
Hmmm. My recollection has her playing in Philadelphia, and as Phil Collins is frequently cited in quizzes as the only person who played both venues, I strongly suspect she didn't appear at Wembley. She did, however, somewhat incongruously, provide back up for the Thompson Twins stint in Philadelphia.

Quiz Alzheimers Andy and the effect of the passing years ... Madonna did sing back up for the Thompson Twins and that is the answer I was seeking. It's all yours!

According to my source, which was the last song to be performed 'live', on Top of the Pops (as distinct from lip-synching or the playing of a video)?

'Smells Like Teen Spirit'?

Sorry - incorrect - by about 15 years

"Running Free" by Iron Maiden?
Re: Contuinuous Quiz - Music
Nope - one more clue then I'll spill the beans. Apparently, almost entirely based on download sales, this song is now second only to Sinatra's 'My Way' for weeks spent in the top 75.
