Not Bette Davis. She like Ms Leigh has taken her final curtain call and gone to the great green room in the hereafter. The actress in question pretty much finished her Hollywood career before Garbo but has been active on international stage and screen since then on an intermittent basis.

Ok Ozzo let's try a new question so. The lady of 102 and 2 Oscars (for Best Actress) still going strong btw is none other than Luise Rainer - who won for The Good Earth and The Great Ziegfield back in 1936 and 1937 (awarded 37 and 38). Seemed like a good idea to follow the George Burns question with another artiste of astonishing longevity.

Here'a a nice easy one so - Which Irish leading man met his screen Waterloo in 2004 playing the dapper George Osborne?

Not Mr Brosnan I'm afraid - and the George Osborne in question is not the current British Chancellor for the Exchequer!

I was also thinking about the Waterloo in your question and if thats a reference to Belgium and Bruge leading me to In Bruge and maybe, Colin Farrell?

Sorry Ozzo it's not Colin Farrell but the actor in question is a lot nearer to him in age than Pierce Brosnan would be. The reference to Waterloo is to the famous Battle of 1815.

Yep Daniel it is Jonathan Rhys Meyers of Tudors fame who played the dashing Captain Osborne in 2004's Vanity Fair. Well done it's all yours ...
